World History Class Page
Welcome to the World History page! This course is an academic track requirement for Juniors. Unfortunately, this is also the ONLY World History course in the PENNCREST social studies curriculum. World History is an extensive study of the history of mankind beginning with colonialism to the present day. I have tweaked the course, beginning with the ancient river civilizations. The class then covers the Greeks & Romans in order to help students gain an understanding of the creation of western civilization. After a brief review of the middle ages, the class will resume where originally designed. Students will experience of variety of instructional methods in this class and it is my hope to better prepare them for an academic future.
Below are links to the course syllabus and schedule. At the bottom of this page, class notes & links are also submitted for those who missed class or are just looking to improve their academic skills!
